Statewide Email Users Group
The Statewide Email Users Group was developed in response to Governor
Napolitano’s Efficiency Review email initiative. The group is an
inter-agency forum consisting of State agencies, boards and commissions
concerned with the adoption and implementation of a unified statewide email
system.
Major goals and objectives of the Statewide Email Users group include:

- Establish a
Statewide Email Users Group

- Address the
Governor’s Initiative to have the ability able to rapidly and
efficiently contact State employees via email when deemed necessary.

- Discussion forum
for opportunities to bring about substantial cost savings and
efficiencies to the State of Arizona and its customers

- Identification of
agencies, boards and commissions that meet criteria for the
statewide initiative and create a plan for federating those email
directories

- Discussion forum
for the concept of Statewide Email Services and related issues or
concerns

- Determination of
need and achievability of a Statewide Email

- Establishment of
a Project Planning Process to advance Statewide Email capability

- Establishment of
a preliminary meeting schedule for future meetings

gathering and repository
