Since the
mid-1990’s, Dawn M. Chicky, a Senior Information Technology Project Manager for
Raytheon’s Missile Systems business in Tucson, has been providing focused
mission solutions to both internal and external customers of Raytheon’s $3
billion annual sales and 10,000+ employee operations in southern Arizona.
Combining in-depth knowledge of management information systems, e-business
development, user applications, and strategic project management, Dawn leads
multi-functional IT specialist teams in the design, development and
implementation of enterprise web-enabling interface solutions to address
Raytheon’s specific business practices and procedures, as well as for U.S.
Government customers who procure and operate Raytheon’s products in major
defense weapons systems.
Prior to joining Raytheon, Dawn served as a system acquisition and financial
planning consultant and later, fiscal management team leader on the US Navy and
US Air Force’s $230 Million Sidewinder AIM-9X program with the Comarco Weapons
Division at the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake, CA.
Dawn currently sits on the Board of Directors and is President of the Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson, where she is actively engaged in formulating,
monitoring, and approving the long range goals and objectives of the
organization, as well as forming strong linkages with other community
organizations. Dawn also serves as a committee member on Raytheon Missile
System’s Women’s Network, the Tucson YWCA Bright Futures Committee, and the
University of Arizona’s Expanding Your Horizon’s Conference.
Dawn holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of
Arizona
