Steve has been with Coconino County for 25 years and has held a variety of positions during that time including:  homecare aide for the elderly, case worker, Director of the Career and Training Center, Assistant to the County Manager, Elections Director, Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Acting County Manager (twice) and Deputy County Manager. 

Steve was born and raised in Morenci, Arizona and attended Eastern Arizona College and Northern Arizona University where he earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology/Social Work and Masters in Public Administration.
