Statewide Strategic IT Planning The Statewide Strategic IT Plan (.pdf) developed by GITA includes directives and initiatives from the Governor that aligns IT strategies to business value, as well as statewide IT goals, industry best practices, and input from public and private stakeholders. The plan also provides agency IT goals, performance measures and accomplishments for the executive branch of state government. Information technology is an invaluable strategic asset when it connects people, process, and information that provide effective results. Agency Strategic IT Planning IT Planning for the executive branch of state government consists of the Planning Application for Reporting IT Strategies (PARIS), the Technology Infrastructure and Standards Assessment (TISA) and the Information Services Inventory Status (ISIS), all online applications. All three applications provide insight and knowledge on the business value of IT strategies, compliance to technology and security standards, and inventory of IT assets to track emerging and target technologies for the integration of services and information. All planning information is submitted to GITA by September of each year.
