James has over 20
years experience specializing in Information Technology, Business Development,
Strategy and Security. Other experiences include high volume/secure Internet
application development, global team management, cryptography (emphasis on
Public Key Infrastructure) and security protocols, privacy protocols, wireless
applications, innovation, patents, and industry regulatory compliance (HIPAA,
SOX and FDIC).
James is currently Manager of Awareness and Training for the Statewide
Information Security & Privacy Office (SISPO). Prior to the State of Arizona,
James provided security and privacy consulting services in the Healthcare and
Financial Services sectors for 2 years. James was with American Express for 20
years and served in several capacities ranging from Vice President of Internet
Application Development to research and development in the Advanced Technology
Group.
Dzierzanowski received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke
University, his M.S. degree in Engineering from Pennsylvania State University,
and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He
then completed a National Institute of Health (NIH) Postdoctoral Fellowship with
Harvard Medical School. During that time, he was a Visiting Scientist with the
Laboratory of Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence, at Massachusetts
Institute of Technology.
