Sherri has over 20 years experience specializing in diverse, large-scale
Information Technology projects. Roles and responsibilities have included
Project Management, Cross-Functional Team Building, Organizational and Financial
Management, and Functional System Design. Recent projects include project
management for Statewide Security and Privacy Risk Assessments and Statewide
Storage Encryption RFP efforts, Google public/private partnership advancement
utilizing Sitemap and Custom Search Engine (CSE) technologies, and technical
consulting for Arizona Invasive Species Advisory Council (AISAC). Other work
experience includes strategic planning, business application development, grant
review and selection, competitive bidding, and enterprise legacy system
conversion and software implementation.
Sherri joined the Government Information Technology Agency (GITA) in April 2007
as a Strategic Project Manager and is currently Operations Manager for the
Statewide Information Security & Privacy Office (SISPO). Prior to joining GITA,
Sherri worked at Arizona State University (ASU) as a Senior Systems Analyst and
Project Manager for eight years. While at ASU, Eshkibok led in-house programming
and development efforts for federal Educational Tax Credit (1098-T) reporting,
and was instrumental in developing university policies and practices to insure
the privacy and protection of student Social Security numbers. Prior to ASU,
Sherri held various IT management roles in the private sector.
Eshkibok received a B.S. degree in Administration of Justice from Arizona State
University and has completed numerous professional and technical certification
programs including the State of Arizona Project Management certification.
