In an effort to improve statewide project management, reduce project risk, and improve efficiency, GITA is partnering with industry leaders to host a Project Management Symposium on October 24th.

This symposium is intended for agency directors, deputy directors, and managers who are interested in improving project management in their organizations. Since all agencies are confronted with the challenges of project management, GITA encourages CIO’s, project managers, and information   technology professionals to attend this important event.

This symposium will provide a forum for participants to enhance their knowledge of best practices in project management. An overview of key project management concepts and industry trends is also planned.

Presenters will include:

  • Gartner

  • Project Management Institute

  • Interface Technical Training

  • ADOT

Both small and large agencies are welcome to attend to gain a perspective on how to make their projects a success.

The symposium is free of charge. Lunch will be provided.
