Cummiskey Addresses Project Management Institute

State CIO Chris Cummiskey delivered the opening keynote to the Phoenix Chapter of the Project Management Institute’s Symposium on November 8, 2007.

Cummiskey’s remarks focused on the State’s technology and project management agenda. Specifically, Cummiskey discussed the new project management certification program for government employees. This program aligns with the methodologies of the Project Management Institute and is consistent with PMI’s goal to increase professionalism in project management across the country.

Also, in honor of the symposium, Governor Napolitano proclaimed the week of November 1, 2007 through November 8, 2007 Project Management Week.pdf.
