Arizona Recognized in Digital Government Survey
State Continues National Leadership in Technology and Innovation
Arizona was recently recognized as one of the top five states in the nation for
technology in the Digital States Survey. Arizona’s fourth place ranking places
the State in the top tier of technology leadership nationwide.

“It is an honor to be recognized among these other fine states in the Digital
States Survey,” said State CIO Chris Cummiskey. “Arizona is providing strong
national leadership in the areas of e-health, information security, GIS mapping,
communications, and other e-government shared services.”
The Digital States Survey is a biannual review of digital solutions and best
practices among state governments administered by the Center for Digital
Government. The Center for Digital Government is a division of e.Republic, Inc.,
a national publishing, event and research company focused on information
technology for the state and local government and education markets.
