Director Chad Kirkpatrick noted in his remarks, “I am honored to present Patrick Quain, Arizona’s Department of Administration CIO, with Government Technology’s 2009 Top 25 Doers Dreamers and Drivers award…Patrick’s leadership has saved the state money and created a foundation that we can build on for years to come.”

The acceptance of the award followed Director Kirkpatrick’s remarks that opened the two-day conference focusing on the technology needs of State, City and County government. The conference was also host to many workshops, one presented by GITA team-member and Chief Privacy Officer, Mary Beth Joublanc.
